One-Third of Young Adults with Autism Lack Jobs, Schooling
According to a recent study, the future isn’t looking very bright adj. good; promising for young adults with autism. They are much less likely than other disabled adj. limited by injury or illness youths to get job training or more schooling after high school. With the slow economy, their chances of finding a job are low.
Experts warn that this could be a major problem. Roughly half a million autistic children will become adults in the next 10 years.
