Experts Find Old Roads Below Greek City
Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece. Workers are digging there. They are building a new subway system. The project gives experts a rare chance. They can look below the city’s busy streets.
The digging has turned up treasures n. valuable things. In 2008, experts found more than 1,000 graves. Some held jewelry.
